6/23/24 - No Apparent Motive in Arkansas Shooting, but the Reaction Is ‘So Personal’ - The shooting in which a gunman killed four and injured 10 at a grocery store in a town of 3,400 appeared to be a “completely random, senseless act,” the police said on Sunday.

8/28/23 - Arkansas high school student 'removed from campus' following online mention of gun - LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A high school student in Arkansas was "removed from campus" following a social media post that mentioned a gun, the school's principal said Sunday.
8/22/23 - Fayetteville High School student found with gun on school campus - FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —A student had a firearm on campus at Fayetteville High School, according to a note to parents sent by John Mulford, the superintendent.
8/16/23 - Northside reacts after student is arrested for allegedly having a gun in their backpack - FORT SMITH, Ark — A Northside High School student was arrested the first week of the school year after a gun was found in their backpack, the school district said in a statement.
7/8/23 - Teen caught with gun at Central High sentenced to two years of probation - Lamarks Danielle Smith Jr., pleaded guilty on June 30 to possession of a handgun by a minor on school property in exchange for a sentence of two years on probation. The charge is a Class D felony that carries up to six years in prison.
3/7/23 - District ramping up security following school threat - JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A few more eyes will be watching students Wednesday morning as they attend classes at a Jonesboro school.
3/2/23 - Police investigating after student brings gun to school - JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A Nettleton 7th grader faces expulsion and charges after police said he brought a loaded gun to school.
2/23/23 - Camden Fairview HS student killed, another injured in after-school shooting - CAMDEN, Ark. – Police said a Camden Fairview High School student was killed and another was injured in an after-school shooting Wednesday.
1/15/23 - Student allegedly sells handgun at school; Greene County Tech Junior High - LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A junior high school student in Greene County, Arkansas was discovered to have brought a handgun to campus with the intention of selling it.
1/14/23 - Student brings gun to school with intent to sell - GREENE COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - Law enforcement notified the Greene County Tech School District of an investigation involving stolen property on Thursday, Jan. 12.
1/4/23 - Student brings weapon to class - JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Jonesboro police confirmed a student brought a gun to the Academies at Jonesboro High School on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
12/3/22 - Prairie Grove children 'killed' in controversial fake school shooting safety video - LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A Prairie Grove school safety video featuring a fake school shooting suggesting that children of faculty members had been killed has many in the school district furious.
9/24/22 - Weapon found in Greenbrier student’s locker, school officials say - A weapon was found in a locker on the Greenbrier Junior High School campus, officials said on Saturday.
