- 3/17/23 - Threat against Cavalier Public Schools was posted on anonymous social media app Yik Yak - Mar. 17—CAVALIER, N.D. — The threat of violence against Cavalier Public Schools that resulted in two days of canceled classes and a new cell phone policy for the school district was posted to social media app Yik Yak, says the school's superintendent.
3/2/23 - Police investigating hoax active shooter threats at several schools - FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Multiple area police departments and school districts are investigating after threats were called into several schools on Thursday morning.
12/1/22 - Police say threat of school violence found at WF High School deemed not credible - WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A threat found on a locker room wall at West Fargo High School has been deemed not credible.
10/13/22 - North Dakota schools target of threating phone calls - GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Several North Dakota schools, as well as at least one Minnesota high school have found themselves the targets of threatening phone calls Thursday, and police are investigating.
11/6/21 - Juvenile taken into custody following threat toward Watford City High School - On the evening of Friday, November 5, the Watford City Police Department received information regarding a threat made towards the Watford City High School.
